PiXel8-RF microneedling shares similarities with Morpheus8. Both treatments are geared toward skin rejuvenation, tightening, and texture enhancement. However, they do have their distinct characteristics.

Our licensed esthetician performs PiXel8-RF treatments on an outpatient basis. The treatment takes approximately 60 minutes to complete. However, the treatment area will need to be prepped, which may take an additional 30 minutes. During your procedure, heat will be driven deep into the under-layers of your skin to stimulate and remodel collagen and regenerate elastin. This will result in firm, smooth skin and a more even complexion.

What sets Pixel8 RF apart from Morpheus8?

Morpheus8 uses 1 megahertz of energy and insulated needles which have a layer of insulation around them. This allows heat to only be emitted from the tip, heating only the lower layers of the skin. This makes Morpheus8 a very painful treatment. While most RF microneedling systems use one megahertz, Pixel8-RF uses two megahertz and non-insulated needles, delivering a higher amount of energy more quickly for noticeable results without as much discomfort. This allows the heat to be evenly emitted to all layers of the skin. The needles go in hot and come out cool, giving us less risk of post-inflammatory pigmentation. For patient comfort, Pixel8-RF sits on a Zimmer chiller to make the treatment more tolerable. Results are noticeable in as little as two weeks post-initial treatment.
