Radiesse® Biostimulator in Baton Rouge, LA
Advanced Collagen Biostimulation in Baton Rouge, LA ·
Led
by Samantha Avera, DNP-BC
Restored Structure. Renewed Collagen. Never Overdone.
The intense South Louisiana sun, combined with Baton Rouge’s year-round humidity, accelerates the breakdown of collagen and elastin, the structural proteins responsible for skin’s firmness, bounce, and volume. Traditional moisturizers and serums simply sit on the surface, failing to address the deeper structural loss happening beneath the skin, a process closely tied to cumulative UV exposure and the natural, progressive loss of collagen production with age.
For Radiesse® and hyperdilute Radiesse® biostimulator treatment in Baton Rouge, LA, our injectable protocols at Coco Beauty Bar & Medical Spa are personalized to your facial and body anatomy, aesthetic goals, and Samantha Avera’s decade of expertise in structural injectables and collagen-stimulating therapies. Our goal is never a dramatic change. Our goal is for people to ask what you’ve been doing differently, not what’s been done to you.
Our Approach: Structure. Restraint. Renewal.
Full Facial & Body Assessment
Every consultation includes a detailed evaluation of skin quality, structural volume loss, and treatment area before any treatment is recommended.
Conservative Placement
We under-promise and over-deliver. Results that feel natural require intentional restraint and expert calibration, especially with a product that isn't reversible.
Facial & Structural Harmony
Treatment is designed around your entire face or treatment area, not just an isolated concern, ensuring proportions remain balanced throughout.
Long-Term Support
We build maintenance plans that work with your skin's own collagen-building process, not against it, for results that compound over time.
Samantha Avera, DNP-BC
Samantha Avera brings a rare combination of clinical precision and aesthetic intuition to every treatment. With a background in critical care, dermatology, and wellness medicine spanning more than a decade, she approaches the face and body as a physician, analyzing structure, skin quality, and aging patterns, and treats it as an artist.
Her injectable work centers on facial balancing: understanding not just where volume has been lost, but why it has changed, how the underlying tissue has shifted, and what a refined, structurally sound result looks like once collagen production has fully responded. She works across the full spectrum of biostimulator applications, from first-time patients seeking subtle skin quality improvement to those pursuing advanced structural correction.
Samantha Avera’s patients describe her consultations as genuinely educational. She explains her reasoning, welcomes questions, and never recommends more than what will serve you well. Her philosophy: you should always leave looking like yourself, better rested, more balanced, and quietly elevated.
- Doctor of Nursing Practice, Board-Certified, with subspecialty training in aesthetic and functional medicine.
- 10+ years of clinical experience spanning critical care, dermatology, and luxury medical aesthetics.
- Advanced injectable specialization: facial balancing, biostimulants, PRP/PRF therapy, and corrective toxin applications.
- Evidence-based, individualized treatment planning with deep respect for diverse facial anatomy and skin tones.
Our Radiesse® Biostimulator Treatment Options
Samantha Avera works with Radiesse® and hyperdilute Radiesse® to address both immediate structural correction and long-term collagen renewal, recommending the formulation and dilution best suited to your anatomy, treatment area, and goals. Each application is calibrated and administered at precise volumes that preserve a natural result.
Radiesse®
A calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) filler that works on two levels simultaneously. It provides immediate structural correction, restoring volume and definition in areas such as the cheeks, jawline, and chin, while also stimulating the body’s own collagen and elastin production over time. Unlike hyaluronic acid fillers, Radiesse® is not reversible with hyaluronidase, which makes accurate placement and conservative dosing especially important.
Hyperdilute Radiesse®
The same calcium hydroxylapatite formula, diluted at a higher ratio and dispersed more broadly through the tissue. Rather than restoring volume directly, it works as a biostimulator, improving skin laxity, crepey skin, fine lines, and texture in areas such as the face, neck, décolleté, arms, and abdomen.
Restore a smoother, firmer, and more youthful-looking neck with hyperdilute Radiesse® Bio-Stim. This advanced collagen-stimulating treatment improves skin laxity, fine lines, wrinkles, and crepey skin, enhancing firmness and skin quality with minimal downtime.
Turn back the clock on aging hands with hyperdilute Radiesse®. This collagen-stimulating treatment restores skin quality, improves crepey skin, fine lines, and wrinkles, and enhances firmness for smoother, more youthful-looking hands with long-lasting results.
Facial Balancing
Achieve natural, harmonious facial proportions with a customized facial balancing treatment. Using strategically placed dermal fillers, including Radiesse® where structural support is needed, this treatment enhances facial symmetry, restores lost volume, and refines your features for a refreshed, balanced appearance.

Why Do Baton Rouge Patients Benefit from a Proactive Strategy?
At Coco Beauty Bar & Medical Spa, every treatment begins with a comprehensive assessment of skin quality and structural volume loss. This is not a transactional process. It is a thoughtful, collaborative experience led by a provider who has spent a decade studying what makes faces and bodies look naturally structured and youthful.
South Louisiana’s climate accelerates the collagen and elastin breakdown that brings patients to a biostimulator consultation. A proactive Radiesse® strategy doesn’t just restore what’s already been lost; it supports the skin’s collagen-producing capacity over time, ensuring that when patients reach their 40s, 50s, and beyond, their skin reflects a thoughtful history of care. Prevention and early support are always easier than correction.
- Your cheeks, jawline, or chin look flatter or less defined than they used to
- Your neck or décolleté shows crepiness, laxity, or fine lines
- The backs of your hands look thin, veiny, or aged beyond the rest of you
- You've noticed skin texture and firmness declining, not just volume
- You want results that continue to improve for months, not just on the day of treatment
- You're curious about biostimulators but want a conservative, natural-looking approach
The Difference Between Structured and Overdone
Volume loss and collagen decline are completely normal. But when structure softens enough to change proportions, or skin quality declines enough to look aged beyond how you feel, it can create an appearance that doesn’t reflect how you actually feel. This is what Radiesse® biostimulation is designed to address, not to overfill or alter, but to rebuild and restore.
What we don't do
Aggressive dosing that creates visible fullness. A face that looks "done" on the day of treatment rather than settled and natural weeks later. These results reflect a failure of judgment, not of the product.
What we do instead
Restored structure without obvious volume. Skin that looks firmer and healthier, not filled. Results that read as health rather than intervention.
Our method
We intentionally start at a calibrated volume and invite patients back to assess results before adding more. Because Radiesse® is not reversible, this patient-first approach protects your anatomy and ensures you're never over-treated in a single session.
A note on advanced applications
For patients with more specific goals, facial balancing, neck and décolleté rejuvenation, or hand restoration, Samantha Avera's advanced biostimulator training extends what's possible with the same commitment to precision and natural outcomes.
What to Expect at Coco Beauty Bar & Medical Spa
1
Your Consultation
A thorough, unhurried conversation about your goals, skin quality, structural concerns, and injectable history. Samantha Avera evaluates your full anatomy before any recommendation is made. Educated patients make confident decisions, and we take that seriously.
2
Your Custom Treatment Plan
A personalized plan designed around your specific anatomy. Product, dilution, placement, and volume are selected to achieve balance, not just to address one area in isolation. You’ll understand exactly what is being done and why.
3
Treatment Day
Injections are precise and well-tolerated. Most patients resume normal activities the same day or the day after. Mild, temporary swelling or bruising at injection sites is normal and resolves within a few days to a week, depending on the area.
4
Results & Ongoing Maintenance
Initial structural improvement is visible immediately. Collagen-stimulating benefits continue to build over the following months, with full results typically most visible around three to six months post-treatment. Samantha Avera partners with you on a maintenance rhythm, typically every 12–18 months, that supports long-term skin health and builds on each previous treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between Radiesse® and hyperdilute Radiesse®?
Standard Radiesse® restores volume and definition directly, most often in the cheeks, jawline, and chin. Hyperdilute Radiesse® is diluted to spread more evenly throughout the tissue, stimulating collagen and improving skin quality over a wider area, such as the neck, décolleté, arms, or hands, rather than adding visible volume.
Is Radiesse® reversible?
No. Unlike hyaluronic acid fillers, Radiesse® cannot be dissolved with hyaluronidase, which is why Samantha Avera places it conservatively and reassesses before adding more.
When will I see results?
Initial structural improvement is visible immediately. Collagen-stimulating benefits build gradually, with full results typically most visible around three to six months post-treatment.
Is there any downtime?
Most patients resume normal activities the same day or the day after. Mild swelling or bruising at injection sites can occasionally occur and typically resolves within 3 to 7 days.
Will I still look like myself?
Yes, and that is our primary objective. We treat conservatively, assess results, and adjust before ever adding more. You should look refreshed and structurally supported, not filled.
What's the difference between Golden Neck Revive and Time Rewind Hand Treatment?
Both use hyperdilute Radiesse® Bio-Stim to improve skin quality and stimulate collagen, but each is tailored to its treatment area: Golden Neck Revive for the neck and décolleté, and Time Rewind Hand Treatment for the hands.
Your Consultation Begins With a Conversation
There is no protocol here. No predetermined menu. Samantha Avera will evaluate your anatomy, listen to your goals, and build a plan designed for you, whether you’re exploring biostimulator treatment for the first time or refining a long-term maintenance approach.
